Ukraine Launches Arms Exports

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky held an expanded meeting on key issues of Ukrainian arms exports on April 28. He reported about it in Telegram.

"The export of Ukrainian weapons will be real. We have agreed all the details at the level of our state institutions. Now our expertise in the field of security and weapons tested by modern warfare are interesting to all partners who are able to provide themselves with a real level of protection of national statehood and people's lives," the president said.

He said that Ukraine offered partners who help it a special format of cooperation Drone Deals - special agreements on the production and supply of drones, missiles, shells and other in-demand weapons, military equipment, software, integration with defense systems of partners, and t Ukrainian manufacturers will have the opportunity to enter foreign markets, but on the condition that Ukraine will retain the right to receive the necessary volume of weapons first.

At the same time, a list of countries to which arms exports will be banned due to their cooperation with the aggressor country Russia will be drawn up.

"Ukraine's production capacity surplus for some types of weapons reaches 50%, and this is a direct result of our state investments in Ukraine's defense industry and our cooperation with partners," Zelenski added
