One Of The Central Streets In Minsk Will Be Closed For Two Years

In Minsk, Melnikayte Street in the city center will be closed for two years. This was stated by general director of "Minskmetrostroy" Vasili Kosovets, reports Blizko.by. The through passage will be closed in early June.

This is necessary for the dismantling of two tunnel boring complexes and the construction of a connecting junction with the existing subway line.

"A corresponding decision will be prepared within a month, then we'll start working on this site," said Vasili Kosovets.

At the same time, despite the closure of the through passage, the entrances to the yards will remain accessible to local residents.
