A Student From Iran Was Detained In Belarus For Politics

Iranian student Hadige Khodadadi, studying in Belarus, was arrested for 14 days. This is reported by Manoto News.
According to the publication, the girl was detained after publications in Telegram, where she spoke about the situation in Iran. According to the media outlet, the reason for the detention may have been the intervention of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic. Subsequently, the student was sentenced to administrative arrest for two weeks.
According to Khodadadi's relatives, she was supposed to be released on May 10, but she still remains in custody. Her further education and the status of her stay in Belarus are still unclear.
Also, as the newspaper notes, during the arrest the girl was deprived of the opportunity to contact her friends and had no access to a lawyer.
