Drones Flew To Stavropol Krai And Tatarstan

Several Russian factories have been hit.

On the night of May 16, attack drones attacked Russia's Stavropol region, where they hit the chemical plant "Azot" in Nevinnomyssk.

A fire broke out at the site of the strike, the monitoring telegram channel "Exilenova+" reported.

"The chemical plant Nevinnomyssk Azot was attacked in the town of Nevinnomyssk, Stavropol Territory; a video posted by local residents shows a fire at the facility," the report said.

The governor of Stavropol Krai, Vladimir Vladimirov, confirmed that drones had indeed attacked Nevinnomyssk, but denied that the company had been hit.

"Our air defense forces have repelled a raid by enemy UAVs near Nevinnomyssk. There are no casualties or destruction on the ground. Thank you to the defenders of our sky. The regime of drone danger in Stavropol continues to operate. Be vigilant and cautious," Vladimirov wrote.

In addition, monitors reported a fire in Tatarstan, where LLC "Enterprise of Electric Networks" caught fire.

The Ukrainian side did not comment on the strikes on Tatarstan and Stavropol Krai at the time of publication.
