SBU And Ukrainian Defense Forces Hit Belbek Military Airfield In Crimea

The Ukrainians hit the infrastructure and air defense assets of the occupiers.

The Security Service and the Ukrainian Defense Forces have hit the infrastructure and air defense facilities of the Belbek military airfield in occupied Crimea. This was reported by the SBU press service on Sunday, May 17.

Ukrainian fighters hit:

the Pantsir-S2 air defense system;

the S-400 radar hangar;

the Orion UAV control system and the Forpost UAV ground control station;

the ground-to-air data transfer point;

the control tower and hangar at Belbek airfield.

In addition, the Defense Forces confirmed the following were hit in the Moscow region:

Angstrem plant, which supplies semiconductors to the Russian military-industrial complex and is under U.S. sanctions;

Moscow refinery;

Solnechnogorsk oil pumping station;

Volodarskoye oil pumping station.

On April 26, the SBU reported that its drone strikes on the Russian Black Sea Fleet base in Sevastopol and the Belbek military airfield in temporarily occupied Crimea hit three warships, a fighter jet and air defense facilities.
