Ukraine Drones Defeat Elite Russian Pilot Training Center

Ukraine Drones Defeat Elite Russian Pilot Training Center

Details of the operation "Snow of Akhmat" have become known.

Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces in coordination with the SBU on the night of May 20 conducted the operation "Snow of Akhmat," which involved the destruction of an important Russian army facility located in the temporarily occupied Snezhnoye in Donetschina.

The facility in question was used to train drone pilots, as well as to produce ammunition and components for UAVs. The SBS published footage of the operation on its YouTube channel.

The strike hit the production and repair areas of the facility, which housed four Tiger armored vehicles delivered for repairs. All the equipment was destroyed.

In addition, as a result of the attack, the head of the facility - a lieutenant colonel with the call sign "Brown" - was eliminated, and the total irrecoverable losses of the occupants' personnel amounted to at least 65 people. We are talking about the special forces cadets of the 78th Special Forces Regiment "North Akhmat".

In addition to equipment and personnel, the facility destroyed ammunition and elements intended for the production of unmanned systems. The video shows not only footage captured by Ukrainian drones at the time of the attack, but also footage of the aftermath of the strikes filmed by local residents, which prove that the occupiers' facility was completely destroyed.

The SBS noted that hitting such facilities reduces the Russian army's ability to train UAV crews, repair armored vehicles and provide units on the front line. The Ukrainian military added that as of today, the occupiers have only two such training centers left.
