Ukrainian troops are reaching certain targets in the border area of Sumy region.

The president discussed in detail with the AFU Commander-in-Chief Alexander Syrsky the activity on the front.

So, since the beginning of 2026, Russian losses on the front have already amounted to more than 145 thousand people.

In particular, almost 86 thousand people were destroyed, at least 59 thousand occupants were seriously wounded, more than 800 Russian servicemen were taken prisoner.

"In the border area of Sumy region we are achieving certain goals. We continue to destroy Russian personnel and equipment of the occupants also in other directions. I especially want to thank the operators of our drones for their accuracy. Active actions are also continuing, for which paratroopers and attack aircraft are worth mentioning," Zelensky said.
