Ukrainian Border Guards Denied The Absurd Statement By Wolfowitz

Kiev has declared the Lukashenko regime a liar.

Lukashenko's regime claims so-called daily attempts by Ukrainian drones to cross the Belarusian border. Ukrainian border guards said these claims are absurd.

Belarusian Security Council Secretary Alexander Wolfovich said on May 26 in Moscow at a meeting of the Committee of Secretaries of the CSTO Security Councils, that allegedly daily air defense means record regular crossing of the border between Belarus and Ukraine by combat UAVs and "their falling on the territory," BelTA writes.

"In some cases, these are not random attacks, but attempts to hit elements of the border infrastructure, covering themselves with allegedly random flights. In the last week alone, there were 116 of them. The forces of the duty service were applied to them 59 times," he claims.

The representative of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Andrey Demchenko in a comment "Ukrayinska Pravda" called these statements "absurd" and said that this is "another attempt by Belarus to accuse Ukraine of something and to shift the blame to responsibility."

"I have a question - how many people had to restrain themselves to keep silent about such "provocations" of Ukrainians. And in addition, their air defense system can probably only detect Ukrainian means, because for some reason they do not detect what flies into Ukraine from Belarus," Demchenko said.
