The Ukrainian Armed Forces Attacked Two Major Chemical Plants In Russia At The Same Time

A video of the attacks has surfaced, along with new details.

On the night of June 12, the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out airstrikes on two chemical plants in Russia, whose products are used by the Russian military-industrial complex. This was reported by Dialog.UA after analyzing social media.

Initially, Ukrainian drones flew to the city of Tolyatti in Russia’s Samara Region, where they attacked the “Tolyattikauchuk” plant.

Local residents posted numerous photos and videos online proving this. Judging by the photos and videos, the strike was successful.

On the morning of June 12, it became known that Ukrainian drones had also appeared in the city of Nizhnekamsk in the Republic of Tatarstan. According to local residents, the "Nizhnekamskneftekhim" chemical plant, which belongs to Russia’s largest oil and gas chemical company, Sibur, was hit there.

The Head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Governor of the Samara Region Vyacheslav Fedorishchev had not responded to the situation with the chemical plants in their regions at the time this news was written. The central Russian authorities have also remained silent.

Tolyattikauchuk manufactures synthetic rubber and chemical components for tires and rubber products. "Nizhnekamskneftekhim" specializes in synthetic rubbers, although it also produces plastics and polymers.

The products of these enterprises are used by the Russian military-industrial complex, and therefore they are legitimate targets for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
