ISW analysts have revealed how it was done.
Further Ukrainian strikes against Russian logistics are likely to trigger a chain reaction on the front lines and make it more difficult for the Russian Armed Forces to launch new offensive operations.
This is stated in a recent report by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
Analysts who examined a series of Ukrainian Armed Forces attacks on the night of June 11 identified six key bridges between the temporarily occupied Kherson region and Crimea that were damaged over the past week, including: the Chongar Bridge, the crossing between Henichesk and the Arabat Spit, the bridge over the North Crimean Canal near Preobrazhenka, the bridge near Mirny over the North Crimean Canal, the bridge in the direction of Perekop–Armiansk, the bridge near the village of Stavki.
According to ISW assessments, the Ukrainian army is conducting a campaign that is gradually undermining the enemy’s logistical resilience between southern Russia and occupied Crimea. And the continuation of such attacks could lead to a cumulative effect and even deeper problems for the Russian Armed Forces.
Separately, the Institute notes that fuel supply disruptions continue in occupied Crimea. This confirms the effectiveness of Ukrainian strikes. It is also emphasized that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have achieved a tactical advantage in the use of drones. This not only disrupts logistics but also increases the occupiers’ personnel losses.
