Pro-Kremlin oligarchs and ideologues have predicted the colonization of Russia.
Pro-Kremlin oligarch Konstantin Malofeev and pro-Kremlin ideologue Alexander Dugin presented several scenarios for Russia's future during the St. Petersburg SPIEF, which is also attended by Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, including the option of defeat in the war with Ukraine and colonization of Russia.
According to this option, by 2036 Ukraine will become a NATO member, and Moscow will lose the war and face further deterioration of relations with the West and reduction of its influence in the post-Soviet space.
In such a scenario, the states traditionally oriented towards Russia will take a wait-and-see attitude, and new hotbeds of tension may emerge around Russia's borders. In particular, the Russian-occupied South Ossetia and Transnistria are mentioned.

In the long term, this scenario suggests even more serious consequences for Moscow.
It says that Russia could face the loss of some of its sovereign capabilities and find itself on the periphery of the new world system, where other centers of power will make key decisions. Moreover, Russia could be colonized in 2050.

At the same time, pro-Kremlin ideologists have also presented a so-called "good" scenario for Moscow. It envisages a significant expansion of Russian influence and victory in the ideological confrontation with the West.
In the framework of this forecast, Putin's ideologists dream of seizing a number of Ukrainian territories, including Kiev, Odessa and Kharkov, turning Ukraine into a Kremlin-controlled state, weakening European institutions and strengthening Moscow's role, including by forming "its own macro-region in Eurasia" by 2050.
