A Fire At A Russian Navy Base Near St. Petersburg Is Visible From Space

The AFU burned 5,000 tons of Russian ammunition.

During an attack by Ukrainian drones on the Russian Navy's weapons storage base in the village of Bolshaya Izhora in the Leningrad region, 5,000 tons of ammunition were destroyed, Dialog wrote, citing information in Russian publics.

The report said that 40 drones took part in the raid and eight of them reached their targets. The strikes hit ground hangars with weapons. The hits resulted in the detonation of the contents.

"The total amount of lost property is about 5,000 tons, mostly artillery ammunition of various calibers and engineering ammunition," the channel writes.

The elimination of two military arsenals is also reported.

Meanwhile, fires at the mentioned arsenal are visible from space. This is evidenced by images taken by the Sentinel-2 satellite.
