France Is Granting Ukraine Licenses To Manufacture Aster 30 And Scalp Missiles

Kyiv and Paris agreed on this at the summit of the Coalition of the Willing.

France is granting Ukraine licenses to manufacture Aster 30 anti-aircraft missiles and Scalp cruise missiles. French President Emmanuel Macron announced the agreements following the Coalition of the Willing summit, which took place on July 13 in Paris.

The licenses to manufacture missiles represent a long-term investment in Ukraine’s defense industry and could serve as the foundation for the development of its own missile production.

This involves the licensed production in Ukraine of Aster 30 surface-to-air missiles, used in the Franco-Italian SAMP/T air defense systems, Scalp cruise missiles, and AASM precision-guided air-to-ground bombs.
