Ukraine Has Begun Using Ruta Block 1 Cruise Missiles Against Russia

The range of these missiles exceeds 300 kilometers.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have begun using low-cost Ruta Block 1 cruise missiles against Russia. Details were revealed by the American website TWZ.

The publication reports that photos of the missile’s debris, intercepted by Russian air defense systems, were posted on Russian Telegram channels.

“The images represent the first publicly available evidence that this new long-range weapon has entered combat service,” the publication states.

The missile has a range of over 300 kilometers, and its warhead weighs more than 150 kilograms.
