The U.S. president promised that “they’ll get what’s coming to them.”

U.S. President Donald Trump threatened Iran with a response to Tehran’s attempt to launch a missile strike against U.S. troops in Jordan on the night of July 29.

He made this statement during an appearance on Fox News.

Trump said that U.S. troops had only a few minutes to respond to the unexpected Iranian attack and that they shot down the missiles before they reached their targets.

The U.S. president, using profanity, promised to launch retaliatory strikes.

“We’re going to beat the hell out of them… We’re going to hit them hard. They’re going to get it,” Trump said.

On July 29, the U.S. military stated that Iran had attempted to launch a surprise attack on U.S. troops stationed in the Middle East. Following that, U.S. Central Command and the Saudi Arabian Armed Forces carried out precision strikes in Iraq against terrorists linked to Iran.
