The drone attack was caught on video.
A convoy of Russian occupiers’ wheeled vehicles attempted to advance unnoticed 20 km from the front line, but Ukrainian defenders detected and destroyed it. This was reported by the 12th Special Forces Brigade “Azov” of the Ukrainian National Guard on Facebook.
The brigade emphasized that for their UAV operators, distance to the enemy is no longer an obstacle: nearly 20 kilometers from the line of combat, the Russians attempted to move their vehicles in a convoy, counting on the safety afforded by that distance.
However, as the Ukrainian fighters noted, the occupiers’ calculations did not pan out.
“The Unmanned Systems Battalion of the 12th Special Forces Brigade ‘Azov’ is once again proving that its area of operations will advance even deeper into enemy territory. Run, occupier, from Ukrainian soil, while you still have something to run on,” the statement reads.
Along with the post, the “Azov” fighters released a video showing the destruction of enemy equipment. In the footage captured by a drone, at least 20 pieces of Russian military equipment can be counted. Ukrainian FPV drones are striking wheeled vehicles that were transporting enemy personnel.
