The Ukrainians are systematically dismantling the Russians' logistics infrastructure.
Russian Federation dictator Vladimir Putin threatened Ukraine with retaliatory strikes against its logistics infrastructure. He made this statement in an interview with Russian propagandist Pavel Zarubin for “Vesti” on August 22.
Putin was commenting on Ukraine’s 40-day operation aimed at forcing the Kremlin to make peace. He called it an “adventure,” “publicity stunt,” and a reflection of Kyiv’s “ambitions.”
The Russian dictator claims that Ukraine’s attacks allegedly “have no effect whatsoever on the situation at the front.” At the same time, he provided no evidence to support these claims.
According to Putin, Russian strikes in response to Ukraine’s attacks on Russian logistics will allegedly “not be long in coming.” He stated that Kyiv is attempting to damage the Russian economy and added that the occupying forces have intensified airstrikes on Ukraine—particularly Kyiv—following the attacks on Russian logistics.
“The Kyiv regime has set itself the goal of damaging our economy. What has it done? It opened this Pandora’s box itself. Well then. You’ll get a response targeting your most vulnerable economic sectors, which, frankly speaking, are already on their last legs. This, by the way, also applies to agricultural production, from the export of which the Kyiv regime derives its main revenue. “Do you want to disrupt our logistics?”—we can ask our adversary this question. Well then, our response won’t be long in coming. “Here you go,” Putin declared.
