Azerbaijan Opens A New Path To Asia For Polish Businesses

Bypassing Russian routes.

Azerbaijan is strengthening its role as a key transportation and digital bridge between Europe and Asia. The route currently under development through Central Asia, the Caspian Sea, and the South Caucasus is intended to serve as an alternative to transportation routes passing through Russia, according to “Polish Radio”.

The expansion of the corridor creates new opportunities for Polish companies, primarily in the fields of trade, logistics, transportation, and digital technologies.

At the same time, digital infrastructure is being developed. In August, the laying of a fiber-optic cable across the bottom of the Caspian Sea, connecting Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, was completed.

The project is expected to increase data transmission capacity between Asia and Europe and strengthen Azerbaijan’s position as a regional digital hub.
