Workers of the Minsk Automobile Plant are speaking about this in private conversations.
They link this with financial crisis consequences that have reached Belarus, “Nasha Niva” reports.
As the Charter’97 press center has already informed, Belarusian media reported earlier that Minsk Automobile Plant would establish four-day working week.
The press service of the Minsk Automobile Plant denies the rumours, says the enterprise “is working as usual”.
It should be reminded that Gorky Automobile Plant and KAMAZ plant in Russia suspended work due to the crisis.
Signs of the crisis have recently appeared in the Belarusian economy, first of all in the financial sector. It is happening against the background of the global financial crisis.
Belarus asked Moscow and the International Monetary Fund for loans of 2 billion dollars each. They both are equal to national reserve of the country that has reduced by 10 per cent for September.
