Youth reminds: There are political prisoners in Belarus (Photo)

Graffiti “Political Prisoners Exist!” and “Freedom for Barazenka!” appeared in the Minsk center today.

“Both authorities and some not very honest opposition figures say there are no political prisoners in Belarus. But it is lie! There are people in our country who are serving punishment for their political views, for participation in a peaceful protest demonstration. While Europeans are negotiating with the dictatorial regime and organizing meetings and forums, activist of the “European Belarus” Alyaksandr Barazenka is on a hunger strike in jail. 10 more people are sentenced to home arrest in fact. Everyone should know that there are political prisoners in Belarus and talks with the regime, which throws people in prisons for their political views, are impossible,” participants of the action commented on it.
