Free Theatre dedicated plays in France to memory of kidnapped in Belarus Anatol Krasouski

The Belarus Free Theatre performed Generation Jeans and Discover Love in Nancy (France) on May 18.

The performances were showed within Eastern Europe’s Theatre Festival. The play Generation Jeans is dedicated to struggle of Belarusians for their freedom, and Discover Love is a real story about businessman and public figure Anatol Krasouski, kidnapped and killed in Belarus, and his wife Iryna Krasouskaya, who has been seeking the truth about disappearance of her husband.

Shortly before the performance, on May 17, Anatol Krasouski would have marked his 57th anniversary, so both plays, Generation Jeans and Discover Love, were dedicated to this man.

As Mikalai Khalezin told the Charter’97 press center, the audience was stunned at real stories from life of Belarusians. After the performances, the audience discussed the situation in Belarus.
