Independent newspapers seized in military unit where Franak Vyachorka does military service

In the new part of his “Army journal” published in the portal “Belorusskiye novosti” Franak Vyachorka wrote about peaceful coexistence of state and independent newspapers in the recreation room in terms of approval, and disapprovingly about the dilapidated shower-room and washing machine which hadn’t been working for many years, the website of the Belarusian Popular Front party reminds.

After the publication officers had a long “educatory conversation” with the youth leader and punished him with two extra duties. Besides, independent press about legal presence of which the authorities are fond of speaking, disappeared fro the recreation room.

Meanwhile, a new date of examination of the appeal from the decision of the military prosecutor’s office to terminate investigation of circumstances of the forcible draft of Franak Vyachorka to the army has been defined.

The case is to be heard on May 12 at 10 a.m. in the Belarusian Military court in Azgur Street 4 in Minsk.
