Men in sweatpants guarded Europe Hotel

Minibuses with secret services officers were standing near Europe Hotel where Benita Ferrero-Waldner had meetings with opposition activists and EU ambassadors.

It was possibly connected with presence of opposition leaders at the meeting, but the ground may also be an intention of a group of women, defending rights of women in Belarus, to hand in a statement to the European Commissioner, ”Nasha Niva” reports.

Secret services officer, most of them in muftis, tried to hide. But when the meeting was over, some huskies with wires in their ears met the guests of the event, leaving the hotel, with fierce glare.

They wore tracksuits, one of them chose a bright red one. This fact gave a reason to suppose that the law enforcement agencies of Belarus haven’t learnt to organize such event on a European level.
