Autukhovich: "I won’t work for those who imprisoned me"

In a recent letter political prisoner Mikalai Autukhovich says that he refuses to work in prison and asks to send photos from vacation places.

Minsker Anastasia is in correspondence with Mikalai Autukhovich. The political prisoner in his last letter says that he would like to be examined to see if everything is good with his health, but doctors do not see any reason for this, says "Salidarnast’".

- To my question about work Mikalai Autukhovich replies: "I do not work. Nor in prison neither in colony. It's no secret what I respond to an offer to work: I always say that I don’t have to work for these authorities and I won’t. I cannot understand people who work for five thousand a month, and there are those who work just for as many as they will receive. But it's not about the money. I don’t want to work for those who imprisoned me and I will not. And I‘m very surprised by those who worked and still work, especially, at heavy work. I would like to know why they do it", - quotes Anastasia a part of the letter.

Autukhovich spends his days reading the independent press, studying English language, writing something.

Anastasia recently vacationed in Prague, about what she wrote to her interlocutor. Autukhovich asked to send him some pictures, because recently he received three albums, two of which are empty and waiting for photos.

- Like all, I have pictures, stored in electronic form. I don't print many of them, but I think it would be interested for him, if people would sent their vacation photos, - suggests Anastasia.

Recall that in May 2010 in Vaukavysk the businessman was sentenced to five years and two months in the high security colony for transportation and storage of five rounds for a hunting rifle. Mikalai Autukhovich began hunger strikes several times to protest against his detention. Human rights activists consider Autukhovich a political prisoner.
