Prayer In Solidarity With Defenders Of Kurapaty Held In Baranavichy

The prayer took place near the Cross of suffering.

Members of the Narodnaya Hramada party and democratic activists cleaned up the territory near the Cross to the victims of the violence of 1939-1953, and then held a joint prayer, Intex-Press writes.

The event took place near the Cross of suffering, which stands on the site of the former NKVD prison, the Curve Wheel, on April 14.

– All the time we were watched by police officers. 8 policemen for 8 activists, – Aliaksandr, one of the participants of the event, told Intex-press.

According to him, he posted information on holding the prayer on social networks, and the police officers, apparently, learned about the event from there. No one from the prayer participants was detained by the police.
