Commander Of AFU Unified Forces Gives His Version Of Blowing Up Crimean Bridge

General Serhiy Naev has made a statement citing credible Russian sources.

The commander of the United Forces of the AFU, Serhiy Naev, has said that the bombing of the Crimean bridge is the result of a showdown between the Russian security services.

"We are not aware of this for sure. From sources coming from the aggressor country, it could have been a showdown between the relevant security agencies in the Russian Federation," he said in a TV marathon.

The general noted that the blowing up of the Crimean bridge was deliberately made the reason for massive missile attacks on Ukraine.

He also expressed hope that the consequences of the strike would prevent the supply of military equipment, missiles and ammunition from the temporarily occupied Crimea to the south for as long as possible.

On October 8, a fire broke out on the Crimean bridge, which connects the aggressor country Russia and the peninsula it occupies and over which the occupiers move reinforcements for their troops. The bridge was partially destroyed.

Russia first claimed that a "fuel tanker" was on fire, but later claimed that a truck had been "blown up on the Crimean bridge". Propagandists say four people were killed in the explosion.

Mykhaylo Podolyak, an adviser to the head of the presidential office, suggested that the explosion on the bridge might have been part of a fight between Russian security forces. NV sources said that the explosion on the Crimean bridge was a special operation of the SBU. The security service refused to comment on this information.
