Russian Soldiers Surrendering To Ukrainian Army: First Pictures Appeared

The occupants of their Yampol motorized rifle regiment have been taken prisoner

Russian soldiers have been taken prisoner in the United Forces operation zone in Donbass.

Anton Gerashchenko, an adviser to the head of the Interior Ministry, announced this, reports nv.ua.

"The first Russian prisoners of war. Captured in the United Forces operation zone," he wrote in his Telegram.

Gerashchenko called on Russian mothers to take to the streets of the Russian Federation and demand to stop the war with Ukraine.

Valeriy Zaluzhny, commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian armed forces, has also posted photos of Russian servicemen who have been taken prisoner.

"The servicemen of the 93rd brigade have captured two Russian occupants from the military unit 91701 of the Yampol motorized rifle regiment," he added.
