Skier Sergei Dolidovich Left Belarus With His Daughter

The athlete has participated in seven Winter Olympics.

Skier Sergei Dolidovich and his daughter left for Poland. In their home country, the athletes were subjected to pressure.

"It's nice to have the whole family together. Now we will explore Warsaw more thoroughly. There's a lot of time. It's easier to breathe. There's no snow. It's raining, and it smells of spring. We left. But we will be back (I believe). Long Live Belarus," he wrote on Facebook.

Sergei Dolidovich has participated in seven Winter Olympics.

He is also one of the athletes who spoke out for fair elections and against the violence of the power structures. His daughter Daria is also a skier. In January, she and Svetlana Andriyuk were suspended from international competitions by Belarusian Sports officials for political reasons.
