AFU Pushes Back Russian Troops From the First Line of Defense in Kherson Region

The counterattack of the Ukrainian army is coordinated together with the partisan movement.

Advisor to the head of the Kherson military administration, a serviceman of the AFU Sergei Khlan says the Russian troops were pushed back from the first line of defense in the Kherson region.

He stated this on the air of the Yespresso TV channel.

"The AFU threw back occupants from the first line of defense, as they boasted of their defense was firm. Now the enemy is strengthening its positions on the second and third lines of defense. The AFU has been striking accurately at the depots that are in the rear. In Novaya Kakhivka, there were precise hits on enemy ammunition depots three times in a row. Near Sofiivka, the village of Davydov Brod, there were counterattacks. The enemy is strengthening its positions on the banks of the river Ingulets there," Khlan notes.

Advisor to the head of the Kherson military administration also adds that the AFU had an advantage over the enemy in the Kherson region.

"All along the front line, we had an advantage for two weeks. This was coordinated together with the partisan movement, which is strengthening in the occupied Kherson region and operates together with the AFU. The two-week victories give us confidence that, having received the heavy weaponry needed for the counterattack, we will begin to liberate our homeland," Khlan stressed.
