Attack On Snake Island: AFU Destroy Many Occupiers With HIMARS Missiles

The details of the morning explosions have been reported.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine delivered an accurate blow to Snake Island. As a result of the coordinated actions on the part of the Ukrainian defenders, a significant number of invaders were shot dead.

Such information was reported to journalists of Channel 24 by the intelligence.

The exact number of eliminated occupiers has not been informed, but our sources estimate the losses inflicted as large.

Probably, the Ukrainian military attacked the enemy with American HIMARS missiles. Thus, the occupiers were left virtually in a hopeless situation, since there was nowhere to expect help from. No reinforcements will dare to go to the island by either sea or air.

In the morning of June 20, a number of Telegram channels reported dozens of explosions and a fire on Snake Island. The Odesa region residents heard the sounds of explosions from 04:30 am. Odessans said they saw missiles flying towards the island.

What is known about HIMARS missiles

On June 1, Head of the White House Joe Biden announced that the States would provide Ukraine with HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems, as well as shells for them. The weapons should arrive in our country before the end of June. At the same time, on June 16, Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak said that Ukrainian defenders had learned how to use the MLRS.

By the way, after Biden's statement, the Kremlin apparently had some real "butthurt". HIMARS missiles can hit targets within a range of 300 kilometers. Therefore, Moscow fears that our military will use weapons to attack Russian territory. However, President Volodymyr Zelensky assured that the Armed Forces of Ukraine would use American missiles only to liberate Ukrainian territories.
