ISW: Nearly Entire Russian 35th Combined Arms Army Destroyed In Izyum

The Russian Federation has suffered serious losses because of its commanders.

Almost the entire 35th Combined Arms Army of the Russian Federation has been destroyed in the town of Izyum, Kharkiv region, because the commanders were incompetent.

The commanders did not take into account combat challenges, heavy artillery was not repaired in time, and the units were not provided with the necessary equipment, the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reported, citing data from a Russian microblogger.

According to his information, Russian forces also lacked effective communication with command centres, and the occupiers relied on messengers because of the scarcity of encrypted phones.
