Armed Forces Of Ukraine Building Impenetrable Defense On Border With Belarus
SERHIY NAYEV

Commander of the Joint Forces, Lieutenant-General Nayev spoke about the situation in northern Ukraine.

Ukrainian soldiers are building an impenetrable defense in the north of the country. The greatest attention is focused on the positions that are closest to the border.

It is reported by RBC-Ukraine with a reference to the Command of the AFU Joint Forces.

This statement was made by the Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Serhiy Nayev, who visited the area where the tasks of one of the units in the Northern Operational Zone were performed, examined the positions, and discussed the increase in defense capabilities.

He drew attention to the arrangement of engineering barriers that would cover the approaches to the battalion's defense area.

“Mining the terrain on the approaches to our defensive positions retains significant capabilities to repel the offensive. This is a very useful combat experience, which is based on long-term hostilities in the east of our state,” Nayev said.

According to him, the most attention is now being paid to positions that are as close as possible to the state border, so the units that advance there, in a fairly short time, regularly build defensive positions and take measures to increase their stability.

“Morally and psychologically, our servicemen are ready to perform their assigned tasks. We will do everything necessary to make the defense in this direction impenetrable for the enemy,” Nayev concluded.
