Ukrainian Warriors Seize ‘Osa’ Floating Anti-Aircraft Complex

The Ukrainian military during the September offensive captured the Russian Osa anti-aircraft missile system.

It is reported on Telegram by the Center for Strategic Communications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to published information, the Armed Forces of Ukraine seized not only the launcher itself, but also a warehouse with missiles for it.

The Osa is a Soviet anti-aircraft missile system, which is designed to cover the forces and means of a motorized rifle division in all types of hostilities. At the end of 2007, the Osa was the most numerous military air defense complex in Russia.

Before the start of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, about 400 such machines were in service with the Russian Federation. SAM missiles have a range of up to 10 km and an altitude of 10 to 5,000 meters.
