In The First-ever Battle Between Naval Drones, The Ukrainian "Sargan" Destroyed A Russian MBEK

The Ukrainian Navy showed what happened.

The Ukrainian surface drone Sargan destroyed a Russian unmanned surface vessel in the first-ever battle involving unmanned surface vessels. The corresponding video was published by the Ukrainian Navy.

The caption accompanying the video states that military sailors, in cooperation with military intelligence, carried out a successful operation in the Black Sea during which an enemy surface drone was destroyed.

The target was first detected by General Staff Intelligence (GUR) units. Afterward, the Ukrainian surface drone Sargan 3000, equipped with a 12.7-mm RWS Protector automatic turret, successfully struck the Russian unmanned boat.

“This is the first-ever naval battle between unmanned boats,” the Navy emphasized.

The published video shows footage of an attack on an enemy maritime drone, captured by a Ukrainian surface drone as well as an unmanned aerial vehicle.

After being destroyed, the enemy maritime drone capsized and began to sink.
