A "Kalibr" missile destroyed the Odessa apartment of a well-known Ukrainian athlete.

On Saturday, September 12, a rocket strike on Odesa completely destroyed the apartment of Ukrainian tennis player Dayana Yastremska. The tennis player shared this on social media.

“That night… That apartment belonged to our family. This is what the ‘Russian world’ looks like. A direct hit by a ‘Kalibr’ missile,” wrote Ukraine’s No. 7-ranked tennis player.

She also posted a video showing the aftermath of the strike, in which the upper floors of the apartment building can be seen destroyed.

According to the Odessa City Council’s press office, at least 23 people were injured during a massive missile and drone attack, including a five-month-old infant.

A fire broke out in apartments on the 21st through 23rd floors of a 25-story residential building; the shock wave shattered more than 1,200 windows in the affected residential complex and neighboring buildings.
