Poland Refuses To Repair Train For Belarusian Railways

The train was damaged in a collision with a trailer with manure.

The Polish concern refused to repair a diesel train for the Belarusian Railways, the Economics of Belarus Telegram channel reports. Last year, it was severely damaged in a collision with a trailer full of manure at a crossing.

The mentioned diesel train was manufactured by PESA Bydgoszcz ten years ago. The Belarusian Railways turned to them. However, the Polish side referred to Russia's aggression against Ukraine and the fact that Belarus is an ally of the Russian Federation, as well as to the Western sanctions regime.

Probably, the accident that a diesel train got into in March 2022 in the Pukhavichy district is mentioned.
