Even Those Artists Who Initially Supported War In Ukraine Are Fleeing Russia
DENIS USTIMENKO

Rapper GeeGun is trying to get Israeli citizenship.

Russian rap artist Denis Ustimenko, better known by his stage name GeeGun, who last year supported the war in Ukraine and even condemned those who flee from mobilization abroad, has now decided to acquire Israeli citizenship, Dialog.UA reports referring to the Russian Internet resources.

According to Russian-language Telegram channels, the rapper was recently spotted at the Haifa Interior Ministry while waiting for a check to obtain citizenship.

Interestingly, Geegun used to tour in the annexed Crimea, which is why he ended up in the Peacemaker base, and in 2022, after the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, he supported the “special operation”, mocking those who fled from mobilization abroad.
