Lithuanian Special Services: Lukashenka’s KGB Activities Reached Historic Heights

The Lithuanian intelligence services believe that the KGB of Belarus has intensified its activities in their country. The Director of the State Security Department of Lithuania Darius Jauniškis made a statement, according to BNS.

“We see the intensification of the activities of the Belarusian KGB, which has actually reached historical heights. It has never been so intense,” Jauniškis said.

According to him, the activities of some Belarusians in Lithuania raise certain questions.

He also noted the increase in the spread of Russian propaganda in Lithuania.

According to the Director of the State Security Department, he has no information that the services of unfriendly countries are trying to recruit government officials and politicians. But if there are such attempts, Lithuanian intelligence services will identify and prevent threats.
