Non-Standard Tactics: Armed Forces Of Ukraine Breaking Through In Several Directions

The Ukrainian army can surround a large enemy grouping.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces officially announced the resumption of the offensive in the Bakhmut direction. If successful, the Armed Forces will be able to surround a significant enemy grouping.

This was told to Channel 24 by a military expert, Lieutenant General Ihor Romanenko. In his opinion, the initiative of the Armed Forces in the East can develop in the liberation of significant territories.

Prospects for the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Bakhmut direction

Ukraine has prospects for the release of Bakhmut. With the help of non-standard asymmetric actions in the north (near Yahidne and Orikhove-Vasylivka) and south (Klishchiivka and Kurdyumivka) of the city, the Armed Forces are trying to take the enemy into tactical coverage.

“So far, in this direction, the enemy is superior to us in artillery and manpower. We must act in a balanced way,” Romanenko said.

In addition, the Defense Forces have been activated north of Soledar. The Ukrainian military is moving forward and fighting to liberate these territories.

What are the achievements of the Armed Forces around Bakhmut

The last significant success of the Ukrainian army in the Bakhmut direction was the capture of the Kurdyumivka dam. This facility is located 20 kilometers south of the city.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine began counter-offensive operations near Bakhmut in early May. As of mid-June, the Defense Forces had liberated about 16 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory.

In response to the advance of the Armed Forces around Bakhmut, the invaders are trying to counterattack in the Lyman area. Ukrainian defenders successfully repel enemy attacks.
