Zelensky: Russia Planted Suspected Explosives On Zaporizhzhia NPP Roofs

The President of Ukraine spoke about the situation at the nuclear facility.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the Ukrainians with a video message.

“About the situation at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. The whole world must realize that overall security depends entirely on global attention to the actions of the occupiers at the facility. Russia must be clearly aware that the world knows what scenarios the terrorists are preparing for, and the world is ready to deliver an answer.

Radiation is a threat to everyone in the world, and the nuclear power plant must be totally secure from any radiation incidents. Different states of the world have their own intelligence services and other capabilities to know what exactly is happening and who is guilty.

Our intelligence has recent information that the Russian military has placed items that look like explosives on the roof of several power units of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. Perhaps to simulate a strike on the facility. It’s likely that they have some other scenario. But in any case, the world sees - and cannot but see! - that the only source of danger for the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant is Russia and no one else.

Unfortunately, there was no timely and large-scale response to the terrorist attack against the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant. And this may inspire the Kremlin to a new evil act. Stopping it is the duty of everyone in the world. No one can step aside because radiation touches everyone," the President of Ukraine said.
