The death of special forces officer Ruslan Mikitsin, who went to Ukraine to fight on the side of Russia, was reported in social networks. The Belarusian died about a fortnight ago near Kharkiv.

As it became known to "Nasha Niva," Ruslan was born in Lida and graduated from school № 9. In his school days, his friends gave him the nickname of "Camouflage".

Ruslan served in the intelligence unit of the 5th separate special purpose brigade.

Ruslan's acquaintances claim that he married a Russian woman long ago, went to live in her homeland and even obtained a Russian passport.
