Defence Express: Ukraine Seriously Preparing to Hit Russian Federation Territory With Missiles

Ukrainian UAV strikes on radars on the territory of the Russian Federation are a sign that the Defence Forces are preparing to increase their long-range missile attacks on the aggressor country, said Valery Ryabykh, development director of the Defense Express information and consulting company.

"Now the preparatory stage is being carried out in order to hit the Russian territory with long-range missiles," he stressed on the air of "Espresso".

According to the expert, if Ukrainian drones are flying already at such a great distance, it also indicates that the routes of probable strikes are being worked out very seriously.

"Also, in all probability, our drones flying at such a great distance are scanning the Russian territory for the presence of air defence systems," the interlocutor does not rule out.

He believes that strikes on Russian territory will be stepped up, while the recent attack on the radar system in Orsk could have been a test firing. This, in particular, is indicated by the small combat load of the drones.

"However, such pinpoint strikes can do a lot of damage to Russia. It should also be noted that when Ukraine has long-range missiles, the flight tasks will have been worked out. We can get such missiles from our partners, or as part of our own missile programme. Therefore, in all likelihood, strikes on Russian territory will be stepped up not only with the help of UAVs, but also missiles," Ryabykh added.
