‘The Russians Hung Out White Flag And Surrendered’

The Ukrainian military showed a breakthrough in the Kursk region defenses.

The 80th separate airborne assault Galician brigade of the Airborne Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine showed rare footage of the first hours of the military operation in the Kursk region of Russia. As the brigade's press service notes on Facebook, the soldiers broke through the defense line, destroyed the border checkpoint and captured more than 50 Russians.

“Having approached the Sudzha border checkpoint, the assault groups of the 80th brigade enlisted the support of artillery and heavy armored vehicles. Having encountered heavy fire from Ukrainian artillerymen and seen Ukrainian tanks on the territory of the border checkpoint, the Russians made the right decision — to hang out the white flag and surrender to the Ukrainian soldiers, heading together with their wounded towards the Ukrainian border,” the brigade noted.

In addition, the paratroopers noted that they advise Russian soldiers to choose life rather than senseless death and surrender.
