Drones Attacked Russian Military Facilities Near Volgograd

Five to seven powerful explosions were heard.
The Russian city of Volgograd was attacked by unknown drones on the night of October 11.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Russian media.
About 2 a.m., residents of the city reported that 5 to 7 powerful explosions were heard in the vicinity.
Witnesses also wrote that before that they heard the characteristic hum of drones.
Before that, temporary restrictions were imposed at Volgograd airport. Flights were delayed or diverted to other cities.
Later, Volgograd Region Governor Andrey Bocharov said the massive drone attack on the region's territory was "reflected by the forces of the Russian Defense Ministry."
Drone attack on Volgograd refinery
Drones periodically attack the refinery in Volgograd - Lukoil-Volgogradneftepererabotka LLC.
The facility refines more than 15 million tons of crude oil annually, accounting for almost 6% of the country's total refining capacity. Specifically, the refinery produces diesel, gasoline and jet fuel, which are critical to supplying the Russian army.
