The Polish prime minister specifically emphasized the unity between Warsaw and Oslo regarding the war in Ukraine.

A shared view of the international situation, the need for solidarity among NATO countries, and consistent support for Ukraine bring Poland and Norway together. This was stated by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk following the signing in Warsaw of a strategic partnership agreement between the two countries, according to “Polish Radio”.

During a joint press conference with the Prime Minister of Norway, Donald Tusk particularly emphasized the unity between Warsaw and Oslo regarding the war in Ukraine.

“We share a common view of the geopolitical situation when it comes to solidarity among NATO countries and the need to maintain the closest possible Euro-Atlantic ties. Europe needs America, and America needs Europe. And we hold an absolutely identical position on the issue of consistent support for Ukraine,” the Polish prime minister stated.

Donald Tusk emphasized that diplomatic efforts are necessary to end the conflict, but the West must not show weakness toward Vladimir Putin. At the same time, he stressed that “Poles will not allow Ukraine to be left alone to face Russian aggression.” The Polish prime minister added that maintaining unity among Western countries and continuing to provide aid to Kyiv remain key conditions for ensuring Europe’s security.
