Video evidence.
Fighters from the Lasar's Group of the Ukrainian National Guard have destroyed a Russian "Geran-5" jet-powered strike drone for the second time in recent days. They used a Ukrainian P1-SUN JetKiller from SkyFall to intercept it.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine citing a published video.
Footage from the onboard camera shows the JetKiller approaching the target on a head-on, cross-course trajectory. The “Geran-5” enters the interceptor’s field of view, after which the pilot confirms its destruction.
It should be noted that this is already the second “Geran-5” destroyed by Lasar’s Group fighters in recent days.
How JetKiller Works
Operators controlled the interceptor remotely using the SkyFall remote control system. This allows tasks to be performed without the crew being in the vicinity of the drone’s operational area.
The company notes that thanks to this system, operators can control the P1-SUN from a safe location.
