The closure concerned NATO aircraft operating in the area.

Airspace over Poland's Lublin and Rzeszów airports was closed in recent hours due to "unplanned military activity."

The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced the closure, reports Reuters.

These airports are inaccessible due to national security-related military activity, the FAA said in a notice to pilots posted on its website.

FlightRadar24, a flight tracking service, said on X that the closure concerned NATO aircraft operating in the area.

The publication recalled that last month, Rzeszow and Lublin airports suspended operations for a time, citing routine operations and the lack of a threat to Polish airspace.

Air strike on Ukraine

Russian occupiers launched hundreds of drones across Ukraine on the night of February 7. An air alert was declared in most regions. In the morning, monitors reported no missiles in Ukrainian airspace. The drone threat remains mainly for the western regions.
