Iranian President Called Lukashenko

Pezeshkian told the dictator about the negotiations with the US.

Lukashenko held a telephone conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. The conversation was initiated by the Iranian side.

Pezeshkian spoke about the situation in the Persian Gulf region and outlined Tehran's position on the negotiations with the U.S..

According to the press service of the Belarusian dictator, the parties noted that "the main obstacle to achieving peace agreements remains the lack of trust." Lukashenko said he was interested in the early settlement of the conflict, while the Iranian president, in turn, thanked him for his consistent and principled position.
