The occupiers are preparing their boats for the drone strikes of the AFU.
The Russian Black Sea Fleet is trying to strengthen the defense of its ships against Ukrainian drones by installing so-called "braziers" - metal mesh structures attached to the hull. One of such systems was spotted on the Project 21980 boat Grachonok. The corresponding footage was distributed by Russian Z-channels, "Dialog" reports.
According to the publication, one of the boats of this type, involved in guarding the Crimean bridge, was hit by Ukrainian forces in late April. Presumably, after this incident, the Russian command decided to equip the patrol boats with additional protection.

In addition, two new platforms with deployed Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft systems were spotted on the Crimean bridge itself.
Russian troops began installing similar "braziers" on armored vehicles en masse during the first months of the full-scale war, hoping to protect them from attack drones. However, this measure did not prove to be very effective.
With the high activity of drones, the use of tanks and other heavy armored vehicles on the front line has become much more limited, forcing the Russian army to look for new ways to protect vehicles from aerial attacks.
