Drones Are Burning Down An Oil Refinery In Yaroslavl

The city banned traffic to Moscow.

On Tuesday morning, May 19, the Yaroslavl region was attacked by Ukrainian long-range drones. According to preliminary data, the Yaroslavl oil refinery could again come under attack.

Air alert was announced in the region at 04:26 Minsk time. Residents of Yaroslavl reported several explosions, which they said were heard near the oil refinery.

The governor of the Yaroslavl region, Mikhail Evraev, confirmed the air attack on the region's facilities. He said that for safety reasons, traffic from Yaroslavl towards Moscow was temporarily blocked.
